Ivermectin lotion is a topical medication primarily used to treat head lice infestations in adults and children 6 months and older. It works by killing the lice and preventing newly hatched lice (nymphs) from surviving. It is applied to dry hair and scalp. Ivermectin lotion is not approved for treating rosacea.
