Crisbo 2% Ointment (Crisaborole)

Crisbo 2% Ointment is a medicine used to treat atopic dermatitis, a condition that causes dry, itchy and inflamed skin. This medicine suppresses the activity of certain immune cells that cause inflammation (redness and swelling) of the skin. This way it relieves itchiness and improves inflammation.

Crisbo 2% Ointment is for external use. Use it in the exact dose and duration advised by your doctor. Apply a thin layer twice daily to affected areas. Avoid using it on the eyes, mouth or vagina. In case of accidental contact, rinse it off thoroughly with clean water. Inform your doctor if there is no improvement even after two weeks of treatment or if your condition gets worse.

Crisbo 2% Ointment is generally safe. However, it may cause pain, stinging, or burning sensation at the site of application in some people. Let your doctor know in case you experience any other symptoms while using this medicine. They may be able to suggest ways to treat or reduce the side effects.

• Seek medical attention immediately if swelling, itching occur at the application site or at a distant site.
• Do not share Crisbo 2% Ointment with any other person.
